Hi Team,

I am looking for optoisolator/optocoupler alternate.

24V digital to 3.3V digital and vice versa is the requirement. We are using PC817.

ISO77X pparts supports max. 6V. Can you please suggest an alternate which can withstand 24V with multiple channels?

ISO7721 is a digital isolator that is suitable to isolate logic signals between digital devices like MCU, MPU, data converters, FPGA and transceivers. Most of these devices operate at a maximum voltage of 5V.

For the industrial digital inputs from field that are higher in voltage, we have a dedicated device family, ISO1211 (1-channel) and ISO1212 (2-channels). These devices supports inputs upto 60V and output a logic output 2.5V, 3.3V or 5V based on the supply voltage chosen. They also integrate input current regulation thereby limiting power dissipation and improving overall thermal performance of the solution. Current regulation needs to be externally implemented for the optocouplers.

Vout range is upto 6V.

Any suggestion for 3.3V to 24V also?

Hi Vidhya,

We currently do not have isolated digital output single-chip solutions supporting higher output voltages. You could achieve this by using a two-chip solution, digital isolaotr (like ISO77xx and ISO67xx) + output driver (like DRV8xxx).
