ISO7731: Difference between ISO7731DW and ISO7731BDW

Part Number: ISO7731

Hi team,

What's the difference between ISO7731DW and ISO7731BDW?

Thanks

Nison

  • Hi Nison,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The letter 'B' in ISO7731BDW stands for basic isolation while the original ISO7731DW offers reinforced isolation as default. The difference between the two devices is only in their isolation voltage ratings (VIOWM, VIORM & VIOSM) and the way they are tested for apparent charge during production test, everything else should remain the same. Please see below a snapshot of insulation specifications for the devices from datasheet. Thanks.
