ISO7041-Q1: Recommends 300Ω series registers

Part Number: ISO7041-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7041

Hi Team,

My customer is replacing ISO7041 with ISO7041-Q1.

ISO7041-Q1 recommends 300Ω series registers for INAA/B/C/D, and OUTA/B/C/D.

What is the reason for this?

What problems can occur if different values are not used?

Regards,

Kenji

  • Hello Kenji,

Thank you for your question. The 300Ω series resistors are a typical use case for automotive BMS applications. If the your are using this part for industrial purposes, these resistors are optional and may not be needed in your application.

I hope this helps. Please follow up if you have more questions.

    Best,

    Andrew
