ISOW1432: ISOW1432DFMR

Part Number: ISOW1432

Hi Team,

I wanted an insight if ISOW1432DFMR is channeled via berg sticks, will there be any loss in signal integrity?

Also, is there any similar 20 pin TSSOP (with same pin config as that of ISOW1432DFMR) version of this IC available since this 20 pin SOIC is taking a bit more space than required on the PCB?

Regards,

M Karthik

  • Hello Karthik,

Thank you for reaching out. This will likely not be an issue for evaluation purposes (and short distances) like connecting two demo boards together. However, for final applications a more robust solution is recommended.  In general, the logic side signals (DE, D, R and RE) are intended to have a direct connection with an MCU on the same PCB. The RS-485 bus signals (Y, Z, A and B) are okay for off board communication.

Currently, there is only the 20pin SOIC package which supports reinforced isolation parameters.

    I hope this helps.

    Best,
    Andrew
