SN6505A: Transformer recommendation for 8kV or higher isolation

Hello,

On the SN6505A EVM, the transformer provides 5kV of isolation. Do we have a recommendation for 8kV or higher? Preferably 12kV.

    Hi Nicholas,

    Thank you for posting to E2E! Most commercially available isolation push-pull transformers we recommend have isolation voltage ratings up to 5kV, and Würth Elektronik has transformers rated up to 6250V off the shelf.

    Most transformer vendors are willing to manufacture custom devices, so please encourage our customer to reach out to their preferred transformer vendor for a part recommendation here.
