  • Hi Vignesh,

I am not sure if I completely understand your question. Did you mean to ask if you can combine two unidirectional channels to achieve on bidirectional channel to create a DIO module? This will not be possible to achieve using unidirectional channels, bidirectional channel design needs a completely different design.

If I understand it right, DIO modules have varying input and output voltage requirements and I am afraid ISO7321C will not be able to meet those requirements directly as ISO7321C can only operated with CMOS/TTL logic input and outputs.

Please refer to the below link on Factory Automation and Control applications section on TI website to see all the information related to DI, DO and DIO applications. You can also see many references that help you see how to realized a particular DI, DO or DIO module using right TI devices. Once you have gone through and identified the devices that are suitable for your application, please do let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.
