I have a circuit that will interface with another circuit through HDQ and I2C.

Is there an isolation IC can handle both?

Can use one of the I2C lines as HDQ?

What is the Standard specification set by TI for HDQ?

Suggested interface ICs to use?

isolated preferred.

Hello Salah,
Are you talking about galvanic isolation or voltage level isolation (level shifters)?

Hi Francis,
Galvanic. This interface will be connected into a battery stack for R&D testing.

Yes, HDQ is open drain communication too. Unfortunately, we only have two channel devices and not one channel devices. You will have to leave one channel open with a pullup to Vcc.
