sn54ahcu04 Gm parameter

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN54AHCU04

Hello,

I have two request about the SN54AHCU04 device.

Do you have the Gm (transconductance) vs temperature and voltage characteristics?

Do you have some TID ans SEE report available for this part?

Thanks

Matthieu Baque

  • Matthieu,
The SN54AHCU04 is a cmos logic inverter and does not have amplifier properties. The output drive strength is not a function of input level, other than influencing the logic state of output.

Any TI radiation data would be available here: www.ti.com/.../space.page
Unfortunately we do not have any data on this logic family.
I can request our radiation expert to give estimate on TID performance.
    Regards,
    Wade
  • Wade,
    Thanks for the answer.

The 54AHCU04 is unbuffered so it can be linearised with a resistor feedback.
By example, NXP provides a typical forward transconductance @25°C versus VCC.
I would like to know if you have such characterizations; versus temperature and VCC.

Concerning TID, all information will be appreciated.

    Best regards
    Matthieu Baque
  • I have not seen a transconductance analysis on any logic parts.
However, there is a app note on using inverters as oscillators. This does show an AHCU inverters I/V characteristics and gain. This may be marginally helpful.

I will update if I get some useful radiation information.

    Wade
  • I was able to get confirmation from our radiation expert.

The (A)HC family has not been radiation hardened. Some members of the AC family have been hardened.
It is estimated that it will be around 10k for TID.
