Hello,

Can you point me to the AM3358 crypto module documentation? Specifically I am interested in AES256 encrypt/decrypt performance. We are using TI-RTOS. Can you point me to the crypto driver source code? I didn't see any support in the StarterWare.

That's a good start, but I also need to know the full capabilities of the crypto engine. Is a white paper available or will an NDA be required to get this information? Also, the Power Estimation Tool (PET) does not mention the crypto engine's contribution to the power budget. We will clock the AM3358 substantially below 800 Mhz to save power, and need to know how to estimate this.

Another observation, the zip file AES_128_BSD_1_02_00_00.zip from
software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html
does not use the crypto accelerator hardware, it is a software algorithm only. Can you point me to a TI AES library code that actually uses the crypto engine accelerator on the AM335x?

There is no support for crypto drivers in TI RTOS or bare metal.

The support exists in Linux. Some relevant pages on that
