LSF0204D: Enable pin connection

Part Number: LSF0204D

Hello,

We are using the LSF0204D to translate an i2c communication from 3v3 to 1v8 and we have connected the E pin directly to GND so the LSF0204D is always enabled. But then,  I read in the application note that the E pin should be tied high or down using a resistor. Is there any risk of connecting the E pin directly to GND without any resistor? It is advisable to use a pull-down resistor?

Regards,

Gonzalo.
