Dear Sir/Madam,
we have a similar problem with bottom marking as described in the forum:
but for SN74LVC86AD
and for SN74LVC10AD
please confirm the admissibility of such bottom markings for these products
and, if possible, provide a link to the document on the decoding of the bottom marking
Thank you very much
Hello,
We don't define the bottom-side markings for the device. Please use the topside markings and original packaging for identification.
It's very common for devices to come from multiple sources -- TI uses a multi-source system for many of our device to meet volume requirements. Different manufacturing sites will have very minor variations between them, including bottom-side markings. These will not impact the electrical operation of the devices.
If you believe you have received counterfeit devices, I can put you in touch with our counterfeit team.
Hello, thanks for the reply, please confirm these bottom markings are legitimate or not
Hello! Please let me know when to expect a response from your counterfeit team, thanks
Thanks for the reminder. My apologies, I had drafted an email but never actually sent it. I have now sent my email to them and I would expect their response within less than 24 hours.
Hello! We still have not received an answer, please let me know when to expect a response from your counterfeit team, thanks
I also have not received a response from them. I'm afraid there's nothing else I can do.
Is there some reason the customer thinks these are not real TI parts? Have they contacted their distributor?
