Hi there,

SN74LVC4245A datasheet's recommendation for a correct Power up is to connect /OE pin to VCCA so it ramps with the Voltage.

At this stage, due to design constraints, we need to leave /OE pin connected to GND (VCCA will be present few milliseconds earlier than VCCB)

Any expected issue for doing so?

The outputs will be active, and during power-up, the direction or logic value might not be correct.

Hi,

Thanks for your question. If there are no concerns with the state of the inputs and outputs during power up or power down, then there should be no concerns connecting the OE pin to GND. However, we recommend to use the SN74LXC8T245 as this is a newer generation pin to pin equivalent device, thanks.
