In the spec. , 5ns/V is the max value for input transition rise or fall rate.

If this parameter must be followed or there has a tolerance depends on different conditions ?

And if there has any risk that the transition rate slower than this value ? EX: oscillation

The B-side inputs are Schmitt triggers (see the logic diagram on p. 5). If you put the translator near the controller (see figure 1), there should be no problem.

By the way, the transition time should be measured from 0.35VCCI (VIL) to 0.65VCCI (VIH), right ?

No. Δt/Δv measures the slope of the edge; it must no be slower than the limit at any point of the edge.
