Hello TI support team,

I would like to use sn74avc4t774 to replace sn74avc4t245 in a TDM/I2S application. I need to use the sn74avc4t774 also for the MCLK (master clock) at a frequency of about 12 MHz. I prefer sn74avc4t774 over sn74avc4t245 because the former has individually selectable direction lines and is more convenient for TDM with LRCLK/BCLK?DOUT/DIN lines.

We know from previous projects that our TDM application works fine using sn74avc4t245. Can I safely replace sn74avc4t245 with sn74avc4t774?
