1. Could please explain what is Vload? How it becomes 2*VCC?
2. In our design we are using VCC as 5V. Since RL is 500ohm. Will it work if we give 10K pull up in the input?
Vinput = 5x(500/1500) = 1.6V <3.5V

1. The RL voltage divider creates a voltage of VCC.
2. These is the test circuit at the output to measure timing characteristics. This is not necessarily what you would do in a real circuit.
CMOS inputs have a very high impedance. A 10 kΩ pull-up will work fine.
