Please advise on PN: SN74AHC1G32DCK when did it go obsolete and what is the replacement PN?
I don't think that your answer really helped me on my question.
When did SN74AHC1G32DCK go obsolete? Also on your suggested alternates don't they have some operating differences?
Hey Maria,
When did SN74AHC1G32DCK go obsolete?
This device is not obsolete. Where do you see this information.
Also on your suggested alternates don't they have some operating differences?
The 3 devices Clemens listed have no operating differences. More on the G4 suffix can be seen here: Why does a logic device's part number have an E4/G4 suffix?
Hi Maria,
Below are the orderable part numbers for this device.
Going back to Clemens' answer. All 3 of these devices are the same functionally the "R" and "T" refer to large or small tape and reel. The "G4" as I mentioned above is explained in this FAQ: Why does a logic device's part number have an E4/G4 suffix?
I'm sorry but my documentation needs to be accurate...
Was it ever possible to order PN: SN74AHC1G32DCK as shown w/o any additional suffix?
Very certainly not.
The earliest datasheet revision that includes packaging information is revision L from 2005-02-25. Even then, all part numbers had a letter for the reel size.
In theory, it might be possible that a SN74AHC1G32DCK was sold earlier. But the absence of a following letter would indicate shipping in a tube, which is not done for SC70 as far as I know.
Hey Maria,
It seems that SN74AHC1G32DCK"T" used to be an orderable number, however, recently we have stopped offering the small reel.
SN74AHC1G32DCK without any suffix should never have been an orderable number.
