Hi expert,
My customer hope to have the internal structure to better analysis the failure they meet.
I can see CD4050 have a internal structure:
and I each find the structure for HC type from toshiba:
https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/info/application_note_en_20210131_AKX00107.pdf?did=63521
Is it the same structure for TI CD74HC4050?
Could you kindly give me the equivalent circuit for better explanation on the failure?
BR
Emma
Hi Emma,
Generally this information will not be given out, however, for a general look, the input/output structure should actually be the same as the Toshiba structure. There will be positive and negative clamp diodes on the in/outputs.
