Part Number: PAL16R4A-2M

Hi,

We are looking for complete programming specifications, algorithms, and the latest information on hardware, software, and firmware for PAL16R4A-2M IC. It has been mentioned in the datasheet that these details can be provided upon request as shown in the below image. Kindly support us in this regard.

Also please share the part number of supported programmers for this part.

    Hi Suhas,

    Unfortunately this is functionally a legacy part now. We are not supporting this device anymore and it's not recommended for use in new designs. The part is also not being updated/refreshed so it's on its way out entirely.

    Hi Malcolm,

    Do you mean the part number PAL16R4A-2M is NRND or the entire family of PAL's are made NRND.

    If the entire family is NRND, Could you please suggest a alternate part for this.

    Hi Suhas,

    We do not recommend any member of the family for use in new designs, and at the moment we do offer any other programmable logic devices.

    However, I found a bunch of reference materials for these old PAL devices if you'd like to move forward with incorporating them into your design.
