SN74LVC2G17: Button circuit without schmitt trigger device

Hi experts,

My customer is using this device as button circuit. The button goes through a RC circuit to CLK. A schmitt trigger is not used so the output oscilated. Do we have schmitt trigger input D flip-flop devices and pin to pin to SN74LVC2G17? Or is there any solution customer doesn't need to add new IC into their circuit?

There is no P2P replacement.

Either add a Schmitt-trigger buffer (like the '17), or use the SN74HCS74 (which has two channels).

Thanks, I will promote SN74HCS74 to customer. Btw, I have a small question about "SN74LVC2G74" which is a single D flip-flop but "2G" means dual gates. Could you tell me why? Thanks!

Thanks for reply. Below is a screenshot from "Interpreting TI logic part number", so between these 2 devices, "2G" and "1G" don't mean dual gate and single gate?
