TXS0108E: TXS0108E

Part Number: TXS0108E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXU0304

Hi team,

My customer is testing TXS0108E in I2C, 3.3V to 1.8V, 8 bit bidirectional level shift,  the SLC level shift is normal, but the voltage can't pull down in SDA from B to A, Could you help to analysis the reason of it? and they want to use it in SPI finally, is it suitable for SPI? if not, could you help to recommend a suitable device?

  • Hi Jingguo,

There should be something pulling the line high. If you have external pull-up / pull-down resistors with the TXS I/Os, remove and try again.

If issue still persists, please provide schematics and waveforms for further clarification.

For SPI, fixed directional devices are more suitable. See the TXU family (TXU0304 for example), thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Michael.
