SN74AVC4T245DGVR Maximum Data Rates

Hello.

I have a question about SN74AVC4T245DGVR.
The data rate level shift upper limit is shown in datasheet 1p, but how about the following usage?

(1) 1.2V to 1.8V: data rate 148.5Mbps
(2) 3.3V to 1.2V: data rate 400Mbps

If this conversion is not possible, please let me know which other 4ch level shifter IC is capable of level shifting in this bandwidth.

Both (1) and (2) are a to b conversions.

Hi Kimura,

You may use the AVC device for the application. You may see also see SN74AXC4T245: How do I calculate the data-rate as a reference.

However, data rate depends on the system designers tolerance for various parameters, so will generally need to be tested in the specific application environment for the clearest understanding of signal integrity.

Furthermore, please note typically, faster data rate is achieved with higher voltages. Hence, 400Mbps at 1.2V is not common and would be helpful if more information concerning this use-case is provided, thanks.

Used to input the differential frequency output at 1.8V, 200MHzP/N to the FPGA 1.2VBank.
