Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVTH126,
I'm looking for a part recommendation.
We have a test fixture that takes an output from a Nordic processor (3.3V, 1mA, 100-200Hz square wave) and sends it over a 50-ohm coax cable to a frequency counter
We need to place a buffer in between the processor and the cable with a drive of I guess at least 3.3/50 = 66mA. It doesn't matter if the buffer inverts or not.
I found SN74LVTH125 and SN74LVTH126 with a rating of 32mA.
I could get to 66mA by tying all the inputs together and all of the outputs together.
Is this what TI would recommend, or should I be looking at some other product (like some kind of power amplifier or something specifically made to drive a 50 ohm coax cable)?
