Tool/software:
Hi,
Iam using (SN74LVC16T245) Part for Level Translation Application, In my case VCCB is Fixed & that IO Signals are 3.3V , VCCA Port Signals Can be 1.8V or 2.5V or 3.3V or 5V but Present it will be 3.3V IO Signals.
So in the above Mentioned Requirement it Clearly Says that at one situation it will be VCCA=VCCB, in datasheet it mentioned both VCCA and VCCB can be supplied at any voltage from 1.65 V to 5.5 V. Now as per datasheet information will it work at VCCA=VCCB? &
Need to Follow any Power Sequence for Port-A & Port-B with available Combinations?
Thanks & Regards,
Akshai.
Hi Akshai,
VCCA = VCCB works great. However, Vi should not be lower than VCCinput but can be higher than VCCinput.
I.e. Presuming VCCB is the output side as 3.3 V and B ports as 3.3 V with VCCA 3.3 V, works with A ports 3.3 V or 5 V but not A ports as 1.8 V or 2.5 V is not recommended.

For the power sequence, yes, the sequence needs to be followed if the state of the output before VCC is fully ramped up is important. If not important, then not a device concern as device will not be damaged, thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
