My customer had a question about how to tell the output logic when there is a mechanical dither. When the power is 3.3V, the high level threshold is 2V. So if the input fluctuates up and down 2V, how to tell the output signal level.

Hi Hale,

If the input is fluctuating around the threshold voltage, the output could oscillate, as described in this FAQ post:

We recommend holding the input voltage above 2V, so that minor fluctuations won't push it below the threshold.
