Tool/software:
We have problems with the SN74LVC1G123DCK (monostable multivibrator) on some boards. The part is used in the circuit to generate a low pulse of a certain length.
The input signals at the problematic parts are correct, but the low pulse is not generated.
It was noticed that the device marking on the problematic component “CHB” is not given in the data sheet.
Other non-problematic modules have the valid device marking “C23R”.
Is “CHB” still a valid device marking, or may the wrong part have been populated on the board?
Hi Mark,
Could you supply the tracking slip for this part showing the part number? I don't think TI makes a SN74LVC1G123DCK. Was this part purchased from an authorized distributor?
Best,
Ian
"C23R" is the marking for the DCU package. "CHB" is the marking for the SN74LVC2G74-EP in the DCU package.
Thanks Clemens.
Mark, is it possible the SN74LVC1G123 got mixed up with a different part? If possible, please send the package slip for the SN74LVC1G123 parts.
Best,
Ian
Hi Ian,
thanks for your answer!
that could certainly be possible. We have the boards manufactured externally. The reels may have been mixed up when setting up the placement machine.
Best regards
Mark
