Tool/software:
For CD54ACT161, I am looking for the maximum allowable junction temperature, as well as thetaJC information to the bottom of the case. Is this information available?

Hi Andrea,
The maximum junction temperature for a part is typically the maximum storage temperate, as described here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/logic-group/logic/f/logic-forum/716186/faq-what-is-the-maximum-junction-temperature-tjmax-for-a-device.
For this device, that's 150 C.
We don't currently have theta JC specced for this device, and finding it will require retesting. I've submitted for the testing, and will let you know when its complete.
Best,
Ian
Hi Andrea,
I can't share that information on a public forum. If you have an FAE, I recommend going through them. If not, I recommend going through the customer support center for this information.

Hi Ian,
I will do that then. Lastly, do you know the recommended junction temperature range for this component? The datasheet shows recommended operating ambient air temperature, but my application is for space.
Thanks,
Andrea
