Hi Mike,

As mentioned in the related question, we are developing a prototype board using UCC28950PWR. I would like you to review the schematic, so would it be possible to communicate via private message or email?

Thanks,

Conor

  • Hello,

The e2e public forum is meant to help the general engineering population through collaboration in regards to circuit design and product usage.  This is not meant for consulting or offline design support.

I do understand that you do not want to share your schematic on the public forum.  There are many tools that you and your colleagues can use to review the design and help with troubleshooting of the design.

    1. The following link will bring you to an application note that you can use to check your UCC28950 phase shifted full bridge design. https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slua560
    2. There is an excel tool within the application note mentioned above that you can use to check your design.
    3. There is a 600 W reference design using the UCC28950 that you can compare to your design that you can find at the following link.
      1. https://www.ti.com/tool/UCC27714EVM-551
      2. You might want to order this EVM to evaluate. Some customers find this useful.
      3. This will also give you a layout example of a proven layout. You can compare this to your layout to see what the differences are.
    4. There is a TI PSpice model and a Tina model available at the following link under design and developments.
      1. https://www.ti.com/product/UCC28950?keyMatch=UCC28950&tisearch=universal_search&usecase=GPN-ALT#design-tools-simulation
      2. You can modify the design based on your paper design and debug it with software as well.

Thank you for interest in Texas Instruments (TI) products.  If you have a related question, please click the "Ask a related question" button in the top right corner. The newly created question will be automatically linked to this question.
