I am also using CD74HC4059 IC for a new design as a divide by 10x, 100x, and 1000x, and 10,000x frequency divider. I got some help for the first three ranges but I am not sure about the fourth.
This is the configuration I am using to do 10x, 100x, and 1000x:
LE = L
Ka = H
Kb = H
Kc = L
J1-J4 = L
J6-J8 = L
J10-J12 = L
J14-J16 = L
J5 = H for / by 10 OR
J9 = H for / by 100 OR
J13 = H for / by 1000
With J5, J9, and J13, each one is set exclusvely to enable the division range. However, I also need to divide by 10,000 as well but am not sure what settings to use in this case. Can anyone provide any insight?
