TXs0108E

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0108E, SN74AVCH8T245, SN74LVC1G17, SN74LVCH8T245

Hi Wei,

***********************************************************

I am suggesting the SN74LVCH8T245  to accomodate slow raise/fall time signals that the TXS0108E is not able to suport.

The input is from the power supply is more like a one-time status signal, i.e. it changes once in a while to indicate a PS failure. In theory if everything is good, this signal goes from low to high at power up and stays there until next power cycling. They don’t mind having a pulse as long as there are no endless oscillations.

The output goes to  an FPGA that requires fast rise/fall times on its inputs.

  • Input Signal rise/fall is slow – in the 30-40 micro-seconds range but it’s monotonous.
  • The voltage translation is from (3.3V or 5V) to 1.8V
  • Preferable 8-bit
  • Open Drain

Please, advice if SN74LVCH8T245  cannot operate under those conditions, is there another part that we can suggest to the customer?

Thanks!!
