LSF0102: Enable pin control

Hi,

For LSF0102 part, can the EN pin be controlled (to HIGH and LOW logic levels) from external open drain buffer instead of connecting it to VREFB pin?

I am planning to use this for I2C open drain application. I have also provided the attachment with more details on this part usage. Can you please check and suggest.TI_LSF0102_10DEC.pptx

    Hi Mani,

    By disconnecting Vref_B from EN, the gates of the MOSFETs will no longer be properly biased -- instead they will be pulled up to 3.3V, which will cause your translation voltage to be ~2.5V.

    I would recommend sticking with the TI suggested circuit.
