TXB0104: A question about resoldering issue

Hello,

There is a question about resoldering for TXB0104. There are chips on both sides of the circuit board, so it needs to be soldered twice by reflow soldering.

We want to know if this chip TXB0104 can be soldered twice. thanks very much.

Hi,

What is preventing you to solder it twice? I have not seen any failure by soldering a component twice.

Hi Leo,
It's a little odd to reflow a board twice -- most manufacturers will glue to bottom-side components to the board and apply solder paste, then flip it and apply the top-side components and solder the whole thing at once.

Regardless, it won't hurt the device to be put through the reflow process twice (or even more times than that).
