TXB0104: TXB0104

Part Number: TXB0104

Hi,

I am using TXB0104 for converting simple logic signals  from a 3.3V device to 5V device. Do i need to use a small time constant (RC, show in the image) for OE pin? Please suggest.

Note: I am not using any control signal for OE.

Thanks in advance.

  • Hello,

I have given here the guide to voltage translation with TXB. It mentions that "if the application does not
require output enable control, The OE pin should be tied to the VCCA supply." You can tie the OE high through a resistor or directly, it will not impact its operation. It will only impact the enable time. The enable time (ten) indicates the amount of time the user
must allow for the one-shot circuitry to become operational after OE is taken high. The enable time for the TXB is listed in the datasheet.
