TXB0104: TXB0104/TXB0106

Part Number: TXB0104
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0106

Hi we are using TXB0104 and TXB0106 in our application, OE needs a pull down resistor as per datasheet.
Datasheets suggests to use >50K on I/O lines if it is necessary.

Is it required to use >50K on OE line also? or is it ok if we use 10K pull down on OE line?  Based on below "application information" we assume it needs >50K on OE line as well. Please clarify.

Thanks,

Smitha R

  • This paragraph talks only about the I/O pins.

The OE pin is a plain high-impedance CMOS input, and can be used with any pull-down resistor, restricted only by the drive strength of the external controller. 10 kΩ is perfectly fine.
