whether SN74LVC245APW and SN74LVC245APWR both are same in technical specifications and physical dimensions.

when we verified in ti datasheet Lead/Ball Finish is different for both part numbers.

please check and confirm.

"Cu NiPdAu" and "Cu Sn" are two finish options (see footnote 6).

Apparently, the manufacturing site/machine that packages tubes uses only the first option.

Yes, both devices are exactly the same. The R stands for tape or reel where the blank means tube.

Hi,

As clemens has mentioned, the fab that manufactures one part might have a different lead/ball finish option than the other fab. However both PW packages are the same. You can look at package drawings at the end of the datasheet for the PW package. TI guarantees operation of both the devices within the datasheet specs as long as the devices are used in the recommended range of operation.
