Hello
do we have IBIS model for the SN74HC138NS, SN74HC139NS?
best regards,
kazusa suzuki
Hello,
We do not have any IBIS models for those 2 part numbers. We don't support IBIS model creation for legacy device families. However, in Q3 of this year we are planning to release SN74HCS138 and 137 in PW package which will be p2p, drop in replacement to the HC138 and 137 parts. If you are okay with using this package instead, I can work on getting a model developed for this part number which I can provide to you within 2 weeks. Please let me know so I can start to get the model developed.
Thanks!

Hello
thank you for your suggestion. but I cannot find the SN74HCS138. what is the difference between HC138 and HCS138?
best regards,

Hello,
My customer agree the IBIS model for the SN74HCS138 and 137 in PW package. then could you please proceed this?
best regards,
Kazusa suzuki
Hi,
There will be no difference between SN74HC138 and SN74HCS138 in terms of specs. The HCS family is going to be p2p with the HC family. The HCS family however includes some features such as schmitt-trigger inputs which greatly improves signal integrity.
You were not able to find the part on TI.com since as I mentioned, its expected released date is in Q3. For a good example of difference between the HC and HCS family, you can compare the SN74HC00 and SN74HCS00. We also have an introduction to the HCS family appnote here:

I should be able to get you the IBIS model for this part by the end of the week.
Thanks!
