Hello Team,

My customer is doing the SN74LVT16245B SCH design. And we need to know the SN74LVT16245B's OE pin's resistance when the pin is floating. I couldn't find the internal circuit of the OE pin. Could you please help with it? Thanks in advance!

Hi Jason,

The input resistance can be estimated from the provided input leakage and maximum voltage specifications.

Using the values given of 1uA and 3.6V, the input resistance can be modelled as a 3.6 Mohm resistor from the input to ground.

"Floating" means that there is no specific voltage.

CMOS inputs must never float. If the OE pin can be open, then a pull-up or pull-down resistor must be added.

Sorry I missed the phrase "when the pin is floating" when I answered the first time.

Do not leave inputs floating.
