I am trying to find the data sheet on a vintage discontinued TI device which was used in several models of Yaesu Musen's radio transceivers back in the 1980s.
The device is the Texas TP0401N .
It is a 28pin dil device and is used to interface and drive 5 digit 7 segment LCD displays with 3 other predefined sections on the display.
It is interfaced to a Hitachi HD44820 processor and uses 6 of that devices data lines for control etc.
If anyone at all can help me with this I would be forever grateful.
