To get to a SIL3 level, we use a minimum of 2 uC at the moment. To get this functionality in one uC would be great, and the ProfiNET capability makes the AM2634 an awesome candidate for our applications. Now there is another topic in this forum where someone asked about the SIL capability of the CLANG compiler. So what exactly is the recommendation of you guys in getting to SIL3 with your uC. Is there an optimal/easy way of doing that because SIL3 is a pain in the as*. So can I use CCS with CLANG and get this uC to SIL3 without having much trouble.
