AM2434: VTT termination with DDR4 memory

If DDR4 is used, is VTT termination required?

The following thread mentions that VTT termination is not necessary with a single DDR4 device in the AM62x case.

In the application note below, it seems that VTT termination is needed with DDR4 memory.

    Daisuke, we have not validated AM64x/AM243x without VTT, thus the app note still shows the requirement.  However, if the customer designs without VTT, it is highly encouraged to perform signal integrity simulations to ensure proper eye margin in the design.
