AM2432: HS Device: Requirements for running software - PG2 - Chip Revision B

Dear TI Experts,

as the new SDK 08.05 is released it should now be possible to build software for my HS device.

I tried it according to the steps described in the related post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1176427/am2432-hs-device-requirements-for-running-software

So far I was not able to boot the software, the device stays in UART bootmode.

Are there additional steps required?

Hi Robin,

I have tried and seems to be working fine for me in HS-SE mode.

I have attached the files which were changed and the binaries used in the same. So you can test the same on your end -

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/908/hs_2D00_se_5F00_migration.zip

Do let me know if this works for you or not.

Hello Aakash,

the software files you sent are not booting for me.
I still see the "C" letter of the ROM BL.

As I use a custom board I am not able to use your provided flashwriter, besides that for my understanding I should be able to transfer the "sbl_ospi" sbl and see some output on the UART port?

Is the software only signednot encrpyted right?

Can we maybe have a call to investiage this topic?

Please check if the keys used are TI-dummy keys, if not, then you need to update the same in tools folder.

Also, the device is an HS-SE device right ? Are you sure about the same too ?

Yes, that is correct. If no prints, but your "C" prints would've stopped and you could've tried to connect the debugger to R5 cores (and that would've worked).
