AM2634: Analog Inputs used for both the ADCx and the CMPSSy at the same time?

Hi,

Q: Is it possible to use for example ADC0_Ain0 for both the ADC0 and the comparator submodule at the same time? I do not know the internals about the analog signal routing. My intention is to digitize a motor current available on the input ADC0_AIN0 by the ADC and at the same time configure the comparator submodule to check for an overcurrent condition using the same input signal.

Yes, this is possible and was a critical expected use-case during original AFE development. There is table in the TRM ADC chapter that shows the mapping of ADCx signals to CMPSS[A:B] (page 428) https://ti.com/lit/pdf/spruj17
