LP-AM243: XDS110 Error

Hi,

I'm getting following error. It's first lunch with this board. I'm using CCS Cloud. I didn't change anything on the board.

- I checked the SW4 positions as written.

- First J10 plugged then J20

Hello Alikaan,

I have a few questions before I can help you:

Does the issue persist with a different Micro USB Cable?
How many green LEDs are glowing when you have both the type-C and micro USB connections connected?
When you open the device manager of the your computer, can you confirm that there are two XDS110 COM ports under Ports?

Hi,

I used different types of USB cable. Error still existed.

Please check the image.

Yes 2 XDS110 port exist.

Hello Alikaan,

Ensure that you have a power source that is capable of 5V/3A. It appears that your current power source is not capable, hence the red LED. Refer to the following FAQ for more information: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1183354/faq-sitara-mcu-evm-and-launchpad-power-supply-requirements . Once you have a power source that is capable of 5V/3A then you should be able to connect to the Cores of the AM243x via XDS110.
