TMS570LC4357: Spectrum Digital Protrace working intermittently in ccs12

Ki. I followed the step 9.7.7 hardware trace issue, by deleting the appropriate subfolder in the DVT folder of the current workspace and that worked. But it seems that I have to do this step every time. Hope to hear from you, any workaround. Thanks a lot. Cheers

Unfortunately this is the only known workaround. The Hardware Trace Analyzer has been greatly deprecated in support, hence there are no planned updates in this area.

Ki, The current protrace unit has been around for a while and understand that even the spectrum digital website is no longer available. Thus we considering other options, do you have any other recommendation for newer tools (sw and hw) for advanced debugging and trace.

I assume you are interested specifically in pin trace out to the board (hence why you are using Pro Trace). We will not be supporting that particular type of trace going forward, instead focusing on other types of trace solutions like ETB. For customers looking for current and fully supported pin trace alternatives, Lauterbach is a good option.
