I'm working on an FMEDA of a design that uses the Hercules RM46L852PGE MCU. The Analysis tool that I am using has a failure database for microcontrollers that requires that I enter the following:
Alpha FIT per Kbit SRAM
Neutron FIT per Kbit SRAM
percentage of bit upset errors attributed to Single Bit Upsets (SBUs)
percentage of bit upset errors attributed to Double Bit Upsets (DBUs)
I have signed the safety NDA and have the detailed safety analysis report and Excel FMEDA worksheet for this part but the failure rates I seek don't seem to be detailed in these documents. I used to have access to the to the private SafeTI forum but those links don't seem to work and I don't receive email updates from the forum anymore - does it still exist?
Can you provide the requested failure rate figures?
