AM2634: FLS driver share in the MCAL_AM263x_08.06.02 using QSPI as device Does it support as Data flash

Hi Team,

We are using CC Eval board VE2 and MCAL_AM263x_08.06.02, Is there any option to configure that QSPI flash(PFLASH) as Data flash. In the TI shared MCAL technical reference manual refering QSPI flash for FLS driver. Is that possible use this FLS as DFlash.

What do you mean by PFlash and DFlash ?

PFlash traditionally means Program Flash which is a flash from which code can be executed due to faster execution/instruction fetch cycles whereas DFlash is a Data flash which is a flash type not used for execution but just for data storage and that too because of its high erase cycles capabilities than PFlash.

By this definition, the flash type which is supported on AM263x is DFlash because XiP (Execute in Place) is not supported on AM263x device.
