Hi,

My customer fully reused the design and BOM from TIDA-020047, flash in the BOM GD25Q64CW2G is used, it can burn binary using uart_uniflash.py tool, but cannot boot up, swich to function mode, don't see any output from UART.

I saw GD25Q64CW2G is used on the design, while the QE bit is not set by default, my question is can this flash part work without QE by set by external way, or need to set through any ways? Look forward to your reply.

Which version of the TI design has the customer used as a reference while creating theirs? I will meanwhile look into GD25Q64CW2G regarding your question.

The latest design file from below link is used. Another customer also has ever faced same issue that GD25Q64CW2G cannot boot up.
