LP-MSPM0L1306: Project does not have target configuration

When I select Debug on the left side panel of CCS Theia and click the "start" arrow, Theia opens a list box and asks me to "select the project to debug". However, the items in the list are all subdirectories of my project. The project is already selected in the debug pulldown. How do I proceed? If I select one of the items in the list it will complain that I don't have a target configuration file.

and I recommend you can try traditional CCSTUDIO version

I have been looking at the users guide but it didn't solve my problem. I cannot use CCSTUDIO as my project mandates that I use CCS Theia. I have a target configuration. The problem is that Theia apparently cannot find it.
