Hi,
I need to use eight I2S audio digital data which is in I2S format to Arm controller. As i dont have many Audio ports to interface is there any device or bridge to connect eight I2S data in.

1.Is your application automotive? If so, we do not have 2:1 8channel auto grade device but we can create this solution.
Using 2 sn3257-q1 devices and 1 TS5A23 157-Q1 device

Hi Kameron,
Thanks for the clarification provided. However, i have continuous I2S digital data coming from external source. one solution we are thinking is to use DS90UB927Q-Q1 which is FPD III serializer and it has 4 I2S digital audio inputs, can i use this only for I2S data input and get Serialized Audio output which i can interface to MIPI Camera interface of Microcontroller and read the I2S data.

When you say eight i2s data do you mean that this picture is on of these data line?

we are in concept study finding solution, let me have four I2S audio data only but no video data. can only audio data be serialized send output which i want to use as input to MIPI and read this data.

Well to help I would like to send this FAQ that talks about multiplexers in i2s applications.
If you have four serial data lines than a 2:1 4 channel multiplexer like the sn3257-q1 should a device you consider in your application.

Thanks Kameron and i will look into the details, also. we want to use TMS 320C6727B DSP in which McASP signals are received. Data received are in PCM format in which Audio data format is 24 bit left justified , here in the MCASP block it is received which is serial data pin and internally it has serializer and shows Receive Formatter ( Figure 4-25 MC ASP block diagram of TMS 320C6727B DSP datasheet). what does Receive Formatter do once serial data are received and placed in which block of DSP block ( Figure 1-1 DSP Block Diagram) and flow of DSP functions to process this data?
