Hi TI Team,

i) I try to connect the external debugger in RM57L843 Launchpad unable to connected it.Because targate connection is failed.

ii) Why did't show (Blackhawk XDS200 debug probe) in index?

Hi Aravind,

Is there any problem on the built-in xds110 emulator?

I haven't tried Blackhawk XDS200 on Hercules platforms. I knew that Blackhawk XDS200 doesn't work on TI AMIC11x device because of a bug in this emulator. I am not sure if this bug impacts the connection with other TI MCU devices.

Debugging is not possible since the XDS110 emulator is unable to clear the flash memory.
I own an XDS200 external dubugger emulator, but I'm unable to connect to it.

I don't think using xds200 can solve this flash erasing issue.

Hi Wang,

I'll try to debug the software using the XDS110 emulator, but it won't let me erase the flash.

I utilize Uniflash to try and erase the flash.This is also not very useful to me.

please support me!

Hi Aravind,

From another thread, the current consumption of non-working board is bigger than a working board, so I think this issue is caused by the board or the MCU unit rather than the debugger or debugger driver.

Hi Wang,

Code dumping is method of testing micro-controller whether it is working or not. Any other way to find?

Hi Aravind,

Can you measure the frequency of the crystal on your launchpad? It should be 16MHz. If any pin of the crystal is shorted to GND or 3.3V, the device cannot startup, and the JTAG debugger cannot be connected to the device.
