AM2432: Whether the AM2432 support QSPI FLASH?

Hi TI expert，

I want to select AM2432BSDFHIALVR for new project. The Nor FLASH is the only external memory we use.

Now I want to confirm that whether the TI MCU support IS25LP256D-JLLE?

The TRM refer that （When using a OSPI\xSPI\QSPI\SPI flash device greater than 128Mb, a flash device package with a RESET signal must be used.）

Yes, it can support QSPI flash as well.

We have an FAQ which can be used to understand the Flash integration from 1-1-1 to 8-8-8 mode (considering all the major QSPI mode of communications).

The IS25LP256D-JLLE QSPI nor flash we selected has not RESET function pin and is 256Mb.So can it work with AM2432BSDFHIALVR?

Hi aiden-kai.chen,

The limitation may be due to the address bus limitation.

The FSS Region size maxes to 128MB, so the maximum size supported via DAC mode enabled is 128MB. However, you can still access complete flash without DAC mode as well.
